Baltimore Mini Sessions: Your Guide to Fall Portraits

Your people. Your season. Your memories. A little planning is all it takes to make fifteen minutes feel effortless.

Mini sessions are made for a simple goal: beautiful, current photographs of the people you love without planning a full portrait experience. The location and session schedule are already arranged, so we can spend your time making photographs together.

Fall 2026: two Baltimore locations

Choose from the available times on the booking page. Your session is reserved once your agreement is signed and the full $175 payment is complete.

What your session includes

• A 15-minute photography session at the advertised location.
• Posing and expression guidance throughout.
• 10 professionally edited digital images.
• A private online gallery and personal print rights.

Keep your plans simple: one coordinated outfit per person and a few priority photographs. Multiple outfit changes, custom locations and a longer shot list belong in a full portrait session.

What to wear for fall mini sessions

Start with two or three colors that work together, then give everyone room to dress like themselves. Cream, camel, rust, olive, burgundy, navy and denim are easy starting points. You do not need identical outfits to look connected.

• Add texture: knits, corduroy, soft layers and a flowing dress can bring variety without competing for attention.
• Choose comfortable shoes: outdoor sessions can involve walking on paths or grass.
• Keep faces the focus: avoid neon colors, large logos and several bold patterns in the same group.
• Try everything on beforehand: sit, walk and move in the outfit, especially for children.

Make the most of your fifteen minutes

Arrive about ten minutes early. Allow time for parking and getting everyone ready. Sessions run on a schedule, so arriving prepared protects your photography time.

Plan around comfort. A snack before you arrive, a clean face and weather-appropriate layers can make a big difference for children. Leave room for their personalities; every photograph does not need a perfect pose.

Tell me your priority. If the whole-family portrait is the reason you booked, let me know at the beginning. I will guide you through the session so you are not left wondering what to do.

Mini session or full portrait experience?

A mini is a good fit for a straightforward update: family photographs, a couple's portrait or images for holiday cards. Choose a full portrait experience when you want more time, multiple looks, a custom location or a larger group. A shorter session should fit your plans comfortably.

Fall and Christmas mini sessions

Fall portraits focus on outdoor scenery and seasonal color. Christmas minis are a separate seasonal offering with their own setup and booking details. Contact Marcus for the current Christmas announcement and availability; booking a Fall Mini does not reserve a Christmas session.
